Abdul Aziz Karim, owner of UP’s Precision Tune Auto Care was the recipient of an award for being in the top 25 PTAC businesses for sales across the nation at PTAC’s 2016 biannual convention and awards ceremony. Mr. Karim and his family flew to Atlanta, GA to receive the award on October 8.
For the first two months of 2016, UPPTAC rated 30 out the top 50 franchises by sales nationwide. “The Karim family has always been a leader in the great northwest with both stores (University Place and Gig Harbor) under their ownership.” Robert Falconi, President and CEO of Precision Tune Auto Care Centers.
PTAC was founded in 1975 by Bill Childs of Beaumont, Texas. A year later, in 1976, he began franchising and quickly grew to be the PTAC brand and service we know today. Mr. Karim opened Precision Tune Auto Care in University Place in 30 plus years ago and continues to offer great customer service at competitive prices to the community of University Place.
