Sassy New Orleans jazz, classical songs and beautiful artwork will help chase away your winter blues during the upcoming 2016 UP for Arts Spring Arts & Concerts series. Upcoming performances are on the following Friday nights from 7pm to 8:30pm in the UP Civic/Library Building Atrium located at 3609 Market Place W (36th and Bridgeport).
February 19 – Enjoy the New Orleans sounds of Jenny’s Jive Squad featuring vocalist Jenny McMurry (below), Pianist Andrew Larsen, Drummer Chuck Hamilton and Bassist Steve Branca who will perform songs of Louis Armstrong, Allen Toussaint, Fats Domino, Ella Fitzgerald and much more! Featured Driftwood Artist Barry Crust will also be on hand with his beautiful wood creations.

April 15 – Premier performance of Ensemble Turnia featuring Pianist Kristina Henckle, Cellist Brad Hawkins and Violinist Janet Utterback. Featured Artist Fine Wood Turner Brad Stave.
